Winterlude II: A Family Tradition
The Dance Class is thrilled to announce we will be teaming up with the Milton Philharmonic Orchestra for its first ever ‘Excerpts of the Nutcracker’ performance as part of ‘Winterlude II: A Family Tradition’ on December 12th, 2015 at 7:30 pm at the Milton Centre for the Arts. As part of the inaugural season, The Dance Class will be featured in 6 Nutcracker Classes.
The Dance Class Directors and staff are co-ordinating efforts to raise funds to provide costuming, props, advertising and programs for the performance. For our inaugural performance we are in need of over 50 costumes.
Our Vision:
The staff and directors of The Dance Class have always had a strong passion for preparing dancers for their future in the dance world, while creating a positive and creative learning environment. The opportunity to perform with live accompaniment is an honor and a privilege which many dancers must wait a life time for. Our hope is to be able to one day provide this opportunity to over 125+ dancers each holiday season, while offering the Milton community the opportunity to enjoy the full length holiday classic “The Nutcracker.”
